Welcome to the Eastern Washington-Idaho Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America

This synod is comprised of 105 congregations that span an area (769 miles) from Chelan, Washington to Jackson, Wyoming. Our synod's congregations and leadership are working together to transform ourselves for the sake of service to the mission of outreach and relaiming the Great Commission for mission.

Governance:
The Eastern Washington-Idaho Synod is governed by an annual assembly that elects a bishop, synod council members and members of the Consultation and Discipline committees to provide oversight and leadership between synodical assemblies.  The Eastern Washington-Idaho Synod Constitution is available in .PDF format.
